Land-Rover Series I's, II's, IIA's, IIB's, and III's

My own personal love. Series vehicles represent, to me, everything that Landys are about; they are rugged, tough, reliable and repairable when they do breakdown (and yes, they do break down). The Series IIA is my personal favourite (the highpoint in Landy development as far as I am concerned), among other benefits it includes that most neccesary of implements for overland travel, the bottle opener (north of South Africa's borders twist off caps on beer bottles are virtually unheard of). This is not to say that I am a purist, I believe that there are numerous areas where the Landy can be improved significantly to better accomplish the tasks we set it to.
